Jane is building its most requested customer feature, 2-way SMS messaging, as part of a strategy to create a unified healthcare communications platform. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to lead a strategic initiative.
As a Group Product Manager, you will oversee a broader Communications team, including 2-way SMS and Patient Communications. You will manage the integration of 2-way SMS into Jane's ecosystem and define a compelling vision for the entire healthcare communications platform. You will drive the broader communication strategy beyond a new channel, architecting a secure and user-friendly system that balances security with convenience while reducing practitioners’ administrative workload.
Lead the integration of 2-way SMS and define the vision for Jane’s healthcare communications platform.
Directly manage and mentor Product Managers to deliver ambitious goals.
Architect secure, user-friendly communication solutions that reduce practitioners’ administrative workload.
Ensure all messaging channels—SMS, email, and beyond—align with Jane’s broader strategy and long-term differentiation.
Balance near-term delivery with long-term strategy, navigating technical complexity with clarity and conviction.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with design, engineering, and other teams for seamless workflow integration.
Champion practitioner-first solutions by embedding communication tools into daily operations.
Extensive product management experience with success in building complex software products.
Experience on communications platforms, API integrations, or healthcare technology.
Proven experience as a people manager of Product Managers, with coaching and mentorship abilities.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and aligning multiple stakeholders.
Solid technical background with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
Experience with modern messaging technologies and understanding of their security implications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.
Data-driven problem solving with metrics to guide decisions.
Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
This role has an annual salary range of $146,400 to $228,600. Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $173,800. A starting salary below this typically indicates potential to develop key skills; higher salaries may apply to existing team members with significant impact.
