A ski resort operations association is seeking a Grooming Supervisor responsible for the safe operation of grooming machines and ensuring high-quality snow conditions. This role involves training team members, scheduling, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates should have supervisory experience, grooming experience, and a passion for snow sports. Job Summary
As a Grooming Supervisor, you are responsible for the safe operation of the grooming machine as well as the daily operation of the Grouse Mountain downhill runs, terrain parks, road ways, lift ramps, snowshoe trails, sleigh route and other staging areas. Additionally, under direct supervision from the Mountain Operations Duty Managers, you will be responsible for scheduling the grooming team and adjusting schedules to accommodate snow and operational conditions. The Grooming Supervisor will also assist with special event preparation and work closely with the Snowmaking department to maintain proper snowpack around the hill.

Working Conditions
Groomers perform some of their duties outdoors and may work in all different kinds of weather conditions. Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
$30.75 to $35.97/hour
