  • Salary 24.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 25 to 55 hours per week
  • Terms of employment Seasonal employment Part time leading to full time
  • Early morning, Day, Evening, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined

Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • CPR Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • First Aid Certificate
