Overview

We have an exciting new role as a Packaging Project Lead for our Global Parts, Accessories, and Apparel team. You’ll be at the forefront of building this new function and help shape the future of our packaging strategy. Your role is integral to our operations, and we value your potential to make a significant impact.

You will successfully balance the speed of delivery with executional excellence to ensure the team has clear priorities and remains focused on the overall business objectives. In your key responsibilities, you will supervise the new product development process to identify upcoming work, implement packaging processes and tracking methods, and participate in the deployment of the next wave of software required to achieve your objectives. In the first year of your mandate, you will be responsible for leading our new packaging strategy and deploying the foundations for years to come.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Develop and maintain a packaging management plan for projects, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met according to the plan.
  • Collaborate and communicate with all relevant departments (Global Retail Environment, Engineering, Procurement, Distribution, etc.) to ensure project responsibilities and communications are well understood and executed.
  • Lead the deployment of BRP’s front store packaging strategy and ensure our PA&A packaging supports our dealers and distributors\' retail objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select the most effective packaging exposure to implement the strategy.
  • Lead the deployment of solutions or software to ensure packages and labels are designed and tracked within the department's scope.
  • Work with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure they deliver the desired packaging.
  • Supervise NPD activities and Packaging component prioritization and execution.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, procurement or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing packaging-related projects or similar mandates with leading cross-functional project teams with members who are not direct reports.
  • French and English: Knowledge of English is essential, as you will need to interact regularly with suppliers and vendors in the US and internationally.
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Experience delivering complex and multifunctional projects through leading and influencing cross-functional teams, managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in packaging technology, materials, and design principles is beneficial.
