A Canadian municipality is seeking a GIS Analyst to support its Planning Department. Responsibilities include data maintenance, research, and graphic design for reports. Candidates should be enrolled in a GIS or Planning program and return to full-time studies in September 2026. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and lasts from May to August or December 2026, requiring 35 hours of work per week.
Reports to: Director of Planning / Development Services GIS Analyst
Location: Initial Placement – Paris Administration Office
Reports to and carries out work under the direction of the Director of Planning. Undertakes and assists staff in a variety of planning, environmental, and natural heritage‑related assignments and studies, including research, survey, data‑gathering, data maintenance, and data analysis. Provides graphic design assistance in the preparation of reports and studies.
Duration: May to August or May to December (35 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $22.54 (2025)

You must be enrolled in a post‑secondary institution and returning to school the following semester to qualify for this position with the exception of completing a final co‑op term.
