Job description
Job Description

Do you have experience in a new product development program, have you worked in the aeronautic industry and would you like to progress and develop new skills? Then this job is for you.

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Program Manager – Auxiliary Center Tank Development to join our Program department based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work on the ACJ220, which is a corporate jet variant of the A220 commercial aircraft incorporating auxiliary center tanks (ACTs), a VIP cabin, and other enhancements.

You will be part of the ACJ220 team who is accountable for the complete end‑to‑end design, development, manufacturing, testing, and certification of the new ACJ220 aircraft. At the epicentre of the engineering, operations, and customer services teams, the program management team brings together a working team from all the different functions (and continents) within the organization to ensure delivery of the new ACJ220 aircraft on time, within budget, and with the performance and quality above target.

The team organization is established to promote cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

As Program Manager – Auxiliary Center Tank Development, you will be responsible for the on‑time and on‑budget delivery of several work packages within the larger ACT modification of the ACJ220 development program.

Your working environment

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone’s throw away. • Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10 000 e‑learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.
Your challenges
  • Implement robust end‑to‑end integrated schedule for the activities of the ACT modification.
  • Manage the ACT multi‑functional team including all internal functions and external suppliers.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end development of the assigned ACT work packages.
  • Control the work package scope and changes to ensure the ACT modification delivers on the program requirements.
  • Monitor actual development costs and ensure work packages remain within the business case budget.
  • Implement new processes and ways of working cross‑functionally to ensure seamless integration between the teams.
  • Implement risk‑management practices for the ACT work packages.
  • Support transition from development phase to serial phase.

  • You take responsibility for expected technical results and maintain a high level of personal commitment in order to successfully deliver within deadlines.
  • You have good analytical, problem‑resolution and decision‑making skills.
  • You have good oral and writing skills in French and English.
