Job description

Grounded Engineering Inc. is seeking a Geostructural Field Technician to support foundation construction and ground-improvement projects across Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing on-site monitoring, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with engineered specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and inspecting foundation installation methods such as drilled caissons, helical piles, micropiles, tieback anchors, raker braces, corner bracing, and geotechnical ground improvement systems.
Position Details
  • Verifying structural alignment and capacity tests
  • Preparing detailed field reports
    Communicating findings with engineers and site supervisors, and
  • Ensuring quality control throughout each stage of construction.

Regular travel between project sites will be required.
