A leading waste management company in Alberta is seeking a NORM Labourer to assist in decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM). The role demands training in NORM detection and safety, including tasks such as surveying, handling, and maintaining oilfield equipment. Candidates should have a Grade 12 education, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, and preferably experience in oil field operations. As a NORM Labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste. You’ll receive training in NORM detection and safety. Your tasks will include detecting, surveying, handling, and decontaminating oilfield equipment, and waste using high‑pressure water blast equipment. You’ll also sample, document, store waste, maintain decontamination equipment and prepare reports to meet client and regulatory requirements. Fieldwork, overtime, and occasional weekend work will be required.
This role is based out of Standard, Alberta.

The role of NORM Labourer is structured as a full‑time position, working 5 days a week, 40 hours, with the potential for overtime depending on role requirements and deadlines.
