Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at Poplar Ridge School (Grades K-6, approximately 170 students). The role is effective February 2, 2026 to June 30, 2026, teaching in a grade 1 classroom. Preference will be given to candidates who have related teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach grade 1 students in a classroom environment at Poplar Ridge School.
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans that align with the Alberta curriculum.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Submit and maintain required documentation such as a criminal record check and a vulnerable sector check.
