Position Overview:

Paragon is looking for highly motivated individuals for security guard positions in the Mississauga, Brampton, Lakeshore Etobicoke, Oakville, and Vaughan areas.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Answering and making work related phone calls
2. Reviewing and responding to work related emails
3. Answering questions and aiding people in need
4. Knowledge of the property and nearby amenities
5. Knowledge of the client’s policies and procedures
6. Knowledge of relevant criminal codes and by-laws
7. Ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants
8. Identifying and reporting Safety Hazards
9. Professionally enforcing rule infractions
10. Responding to critical incidents, emergencies, and alarms
11. Conducting regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the premises
12. Securing restricted areas
13. Monitoring security cameras
14. Use of computers, two-way radios and building automation systems
15. Conducting Audits of building equipment and keys
16. Providing access and issuing keys to contractors, when authorized
17. Completion of Incident Reports and memo book entries
18. Contacting Paragon Security, the client, or emergency services depending on the incident

Must be available to work full-time, all shifts (Days/nights/evenings/rotations).
