Overview

In this role, you will play a key part in the development of the Geosimple property reports platform, which combines geospatial analysis, permitting data integration, and modern web technologies. You\u2019ll architect scalable solutions that serve real estate professionals, property owners, developers, and municipal planning departments with comprehensive property intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Architecture: Build and maintain scalable applications using GCP, Next.js, and PostgreSQL / PostGIS stack
• Geospatial Integration: Develop sophisticated mapping interfaces with property boundary visualization, zoning overlays, and permit status tracking
• API Development: Design robust REST APIs for property analysis, report generation, and conversational AI integration
• Database Design: Optimize PostgreSQL / PostGIS schemas for geospatial property data, permitting information, and regulatory compliance tracking
• AI Integration: Collaborate with AI teams to integrate conversational agents and backend processing systems into the platform
• Production Deployment: Manage GCP infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, and system monitoring for high-availability services

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years full stack development experience with modern web frameworks
• Experience with Next.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), containerization, and microservices
• Understanding of database optimization and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of geospatial technologies (PostGIS, mapping libraries, coordinate systems)
• Background in GIS applications, real estate technology, or property data systems
• Familiarity with AI system integration and API design for conversational interfaces
