Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain large distributed applications and microservices
• Solve complex problems related to high performant distributed system
• Envision big picture and drive team to deliver high quality product on time
• Communicate and present software features to product, and support teams
• Work with frontend and backend team to develop easy to use UI
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.

Required Skills

• Strong Full Stack experience (extensive knowledge of both front and back-end technologies) including containerization with Docker.
• 5+ years of recent hands-on front-end development experience with React.JS, Redux, JavaScript and TypeScript
• 5+ years hands on Java back-end experience with Spring Boot or Spring Framework
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Proficiency in React and Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Experience in microservice architecture and using best practices with REST API
• Unit and Integration testing experience. Experience in writing testable code
• Experience designing, building UI including browser-based debugging and performance tuning
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong ability in problem solving

Desirable

• Experience building applications that are deployed to the cloud in AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
• Experience with clustering software like Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Ansible, Mesos and good understanding on container orchestrations
• Experience with configuring or implementing Build & Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and infrastructure as a service.
• Mobile UI development experience
• Experience with C++ and Python

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
