A local support organization in Kelowna is seeking a casual Frontline Support Worker to assist individuals and their children at risk of domestic abuse. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, risk assessment, and support. A diploma in a related field and good knowledge of community resources are required. The position emphasizes empathy, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Position Status: Casual (On call relief staff for a 24/7 operation)
Location: Kelowna, BC
Hours of Work: 10-hour shifts offered with the following times: 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, 8:45 pm - 6:45 am. Required availability includes at least one shift from each time slot per week.
Rate of Pay: $31.56 to $33.49
