Overview

First impressions are everything! As a Front Desk Agent at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire you will be the first point of contact for our guests. From check-in to check-out you will ensure every interaction is welcoming, professional and personalized, MAKING SPECIAL HAPPEN for every guest.

What you will be doing
  • Warmly welcome guests, respond to inquiries and provide outstanding service throughout their stay
  • Handle all aspects of the check-in and check-out process efficiently and according to established standards
  • Process guest payments and settle accounts accurately
  • Enter and coordinate in-room dining orders when required as well as take and enter restaurant in-room dining orders
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience
  • Proactively promote hotel services and amenities, looking for opportunities to enhance each guest\'s stay through upselling and thoughtful recommendations
  • Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures as well as health & safety protocols
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service-focused personality is essential; previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is required and previous experience working at the Front Desk is preferred
  • Computer literate with strong abilities in Microsoft Office is required and prior experience working with a property management system (Lightspeed or a related system) is an asset
  • Fluency in English with both verbal and written communication; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and days of the week including holidays and overnights
