The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly), in-office position—remote work is not available.

We will provide training and support your growth in this pivotal role. Commercial real estate is fast-paced and competitive. Bring a mindset of “no job too big or small.”

Responsibilities
  • Learning real estate transaction administrative support, including training on Marcus & Millichap's proprietary software to assist agents throughout transaction cycles.
  • Managing the front office, ensuring a positive first impression both in person and over the phone, handling tasks such as reporting facilities issues, stocking supplies, and preparing sales meeting presentations.
  • Supporting your office and team members across regions with various tasks, including software training, troubleshooting, and special projects.
  • Participating in a training program to support new sales agents, staff, and management, typically a few months into the role.
  • Representing the Vancouver office during firmwide tech launches and providing onsite technical support for applications.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
  • Quick learner with enthusiasm for software and technology.
  • Excellent soft skills : collaborative, proactive, approachable, eager to learn and grow.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, responsible, and team-oriented.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred; experience training others is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus but not required.
  • Candidates will be tested on software and office skills competency.
