A leading digital marketing agency is seeking a Temporary French-Canadian Copywriter in Toronto to transcreate English creative into culturally fluent French for various media. The ideal candidate will possess strong transcreation skills, deep knowledge of Quebec culture, and over 7 years of copywriting experience. This position offers an hourly rate of CAD $48 and is expected to continue until January 2026, with possible extensions based on performance and business needs.

The Temporary French-Canadian Copywriter will transcreate English creative into culturally fluent, on-brand French for TV, social, and digital. The role goes beyond translation—requiring someone who can adapt tone, humour, and intent for the Quebec market while ensuring legal and union compliance.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week in accordance with the company’s RTO policy.
Hourly Rate: CAD $35–$47 (actual compensation will depend on job‐related factors)
