What You’ll Do:

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for supporting the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate movement of the inventory. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting the warehouse operations and delivering on the productivity requirements of our customers.

• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and responsibly.
• Relocate items within the warehouse.
• Unload incoming shipments and verify quantity and condition of goods.
• Unload and properly store received inventory in designated areas.
• Pick, pack, and load outbound orders onto delivery trucks.
• Create crates for shipment and assist in transfers as needed.
• Work in confined spaces and/or cold environments (e.g., refrigerated (~4°C)).
• Wrap and prepare products Elaborate for shipping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Experience

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing operations.
• Experience with RF Scanner is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Proficiency in using order entry systems and inventory management software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Produce / fresh food experience preferred for some clients.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Equipment Experience

• Counterbalance forklift experience is an asset.
• Power jack experience is an asset.
• Experience with RF Scanner is an asset but not required.
• Experience with a Vocollect Headset is an asset but not required.
• Experience with refrigerated reefer trucks is preferred.
• Experience working within confined areas (coolers) and/or with different racking systems (pushback racking, racks that are 2‑3 pallets high, 5 pallets deep, etc.) at some client locations.

Special Conditions of Employment:

• Position involves standing, walking, heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have CSA‑approved safety boots.
• Must be health & safety conscious.
