Job summary

A local machinery service company in Brampton is seeking a full-time technician to adjust, repair, and replace parts of electrical and mechanical systems on forklifts. The ideal candidate should have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1 to 7 months of related experience. Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts
  • Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts
  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Document your inspection and tests made on engines
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Review work orders
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service
  • Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  • Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Education
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience

1 to less than 7 months

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
