Overview

The Food Services Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to food services within the company. They ensure the quality and compliance of the food services offered on board the aircraft and in ground facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory and orders for aircraft catering and the company bistro
  • Meet and negotiate with suppliers and representatives regarding various products
  • Maintain and update the supplier database
  • Plan and organize employees’ work schedules and tasks
  • Prepare service trays according to the number of passengers on each flight
  • Place food orders for flights based on passenger counts
  • Ensure proper product rotation and sorting
  • Other related tasks
Qualifications
  • Diploma in hospitality management, food service management, or a related field
  • Significant experience (minimum 3 years) in food service management, preferably in the aviation sector
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Proficiency with inventory management and catering operations software
  • Food safety management certification is an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including non-traditional shifts
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
