Floral Assistant / Office Administrator

Beaudry Flowers is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable team member to join our shop! This role is a mix of customer service, floral support, and office tasks, so every day brings something a little different. You’ll spend your time helping customers, assisting our designers, and keeping the shop running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
  • Greet and assist customers in-store, by phone, and via email.
  • Input orders and schedule consultations.
  • Manage the shop’s Google Calendar and assist with contracts.
  • Handle scheduling, contracts, and clerical tasks.
  • Keep workstations and office areas clean and organized.
Floral Support
  • Wrap orders, maintain displays, and water plants.
  • Cut, condition, and clean flowers for storage.
  • Assist designers with preparation and occasional product design.
Event Support
  • Participate in set-up and take-downs for weddings, parties, and special events.
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves):
  • Availability 3–4 days a week, including some weekends and extended hours during peak holidays (Christmas, Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, wedding season).
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay productive and organized in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves (Bonus Points If You Have):
  • Previous experience in a flower shop, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with floral design basics (wrapping, conditioning, arranging).
  • Comfort using scheduling tools like Google Calendar.
  • A driver’s license to assist with deliveries or event set-ups.
  • A passion for flowers and a willingness to learn.
