Responsibilities
  • Provide reliable on‑site support for the optical Firmware System Integration Test (SIT) Ottawa lab, including setup of test equipment and optical components, 3+days/week is required in our office/lab
  • Working with scrum team, conduct manual/auto testing for project use cases and investigate customer‑related issues in the lab. Enhance existing Python scripts and design new test cases to meet project requirements.
  • Automate testing processes on the PACE test platform using Python. Analyze test reports to allocate firmware bug responsibilities effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline testing workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to optical firmware testing.
  • Document test procedures and results for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
