Langley City is recruiting Regular Full-time Firefighters. Applications must be submitted online at www.langleycity.ca/careers. All required documents must be in one attached document only. This document must not exceed 20 MB and must be submitted as Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, JPG or TIFF.

Required documents that must be included:

• Firefighter Application Form
• Class 3 or 1 full‑privilege driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a 5‑year Personal Driving Record/Abstract obtained within 6 months of the closing date. No more than 6 points and no current suspensions or prohibitions.
• First Responder Level 3 or a valid BC Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board licence in Emergency Medical Services (EMR) Responder or Paramedic Licence (BLS or ALS).
• Firefighter Fitness Testing certificate valid within one year of posting close date or willing to complete by 9 February 2026.

NFPA 1001 Level 2 Certification is considered an asset.
