Duties may include overseeing components of the Estimates cycle such as budget development, strategic planning, and ongoing expenditure oversight; supporting financial management through analysis, monitoring, financial systems administration, and preparation of operational and financial reports; and delivering accounting services including commitments, accruals, cost accounting, audit and review functions, reconciliations, and treasury-related activities. These roles operate within established legislation, policies, and the government’s comptrollership framework to provide informed advice that supports senior leadership and organizational decision-making.
