Reporting to: Director, Finance

Location: Montreal, Quebec

We are seeking a Financial Analyst – Financing to support Scalia’s growth and capital strategy. You will be involved in structuring and managing financing for real estate acquisitions and developments, while building models, negotiating terms, and coordinating with lenders and internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Structure and secure financing for acquisitions, developments, and refinancing.
  • Develop financial models to assess feasibility and loan performance.
  • Prepare loan packages and support negotiations with lenders.
  • Coordinate due diligence and monitor loan compliance and risks.
  • Analyze real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes (residential, office, retail, industrial).
  • Model projected returns and cash flows, and test financial assumptions.
  • Review operating budgets and support investment decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate (CFA / CPA is an asset).
  • 1–3 years in real estate finance, banking, or corporate finance.
  • Strong modeling skills (Excel) and understanding of real estate financing tools.
  • Bilingual (English & French), detail-oriented, analytical, team player.

Responsabilités principales
  • Structurer et sécuriser le financement d’acquisitions, de projets et de refinancements.
  • Élaborer des modèles financiers pour évaluer la viabilité des projets.
  • Préparer les dossiers de financement et appuyer les négociations.
  • Participer à la due diligence et assurer le suivi des prêts.
  • Analyser les opportunités d’investissement immobilier dans divers types d’actifs.
  • Estimer les rendements, flux de trésorerie et impacts des hypothèses financières.
  • Examiner les budgets d’exploitation et appuyer la prise de décision.
Exigences
  • Baccalauréat en finance, comptabilité ou immobilier (CFA / CPA est un atout).
  • 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en finance immobilière, bancaire ou corporative.
  • Excellente maîtrise d’Excel et des outils de financement immobilier.
  • Bilinguisme (français / anglais), rigueur, sens de l’analyse, esprit d’équipe.
