Purpose

This role supports the core site finance processes including cost analysis, financial and government reporting, and budgeting/forecasting. Specific tasks include assisting with preparation of the monthly departmental cost and capital reviews, monthly and yearly government statistical and tax reporting, providing investment analysis support to operating departments, and assisting the Senior Business Analyst's with accrual analysis, SOX requirements, statistical input and review, and budgeting / forecasting support. You will also promote the company's values and ensure compliance and enforcement of its rules and business principles.

Responsibilities
  • Support operating departments to analyze and review costs
  • Assist Senior Business Analysts in the monthly / yearly forecasting and budgeting process
  • Develop and maintain costs analysis reports and generate pertinent financial analysis
  • Complete monthly and annual government statistical reporting
  • Complete monthly sales tax filings
  • Support financial model preparation for investment approvals
  • Support Senior Business Analyst in SOX reporting and control maintenance activities
  • Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regards to health and safety

Training and Education
  • University degree or College Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
