About the Opportunity

• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting, such as Sales reports and customer P&L
• Identify areas of opportunity and/or concern and provide recommendations
• Prepare weekly variance analysis, including sales and GP reporting, with a high degree of accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines
• Manage and review general accounting journal entries
• Ensure that general accounting journal entries are accurately recorded in accordance with company deadlines and accounting processes
• Communicate with field operations to accurately process Commissary & Non-Trade Business
• Support the annual budget and forecasting initiatives
• Other tasks that will be assigned on an ad hoc basis

About You

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
• Currently pursuing a CPA designation
• Experience with month-end duties, including accruals and journal entries
• Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments with minimal instruction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Macro programming skills are an asset
