Overview

As one of Xradar’s Field Technician Trainee, Concrete Imaging (NDT), you will have the opportunity to gain experience and grow your career in construction. Responsibilities

• Operate GPR equipment with Xradar™ technology to perform concrete scanning surveys.
• Analyze and interpret scan data to identify and mark the location of embedded objects.
• Generate basic reports with clear visualizations of scan findings.
• Learn and apply basic engineering principles related to concrete structures and construction.
• Exposure to fieldwork – you’ll get to know our city intimately by visiting a wide range of construction projects.
• Preparation of job sites and equipment set up, as well as necessary clean‑up and maintenance of tools.
• Completion of job summary reports for client review.
• Assist in site preparation, equipment setup and clean‑up.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in pursuing a career in concrete scanning and NDT.
• A technical diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, construction technology) is an asset, but not required.
• Valid Class G Driver's License and clean driving abstract.
• Basic computer skills. Experience with AutoCAD and GPS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Bilingual (French) is an asset, but not necessary.
