Overview
Production Service Technician position within Xerox's Technical Services division. Immediate need to deliver service to customers and contribute to a growing, technically enabled workforce.
Primary Responsibilities
- Offer outstanding service to clients. Manage call resolution in accordance with the customer SLA to maintain and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Leverage senior-level experience and specialized training in electromechanical equipment and advanced troubleshooting to perform repairs and maintenance on large-scale production equipment.
- Perform full range of maintenance on assigned products, including technical diagnostics, software loads, installation, removal, retrofit, and use of remote resolution software.
- Take responsibility for customer satisfaction by serving as the primary customer contact and providing all maintenance, production, and supply inventories of assigned equipment.
- Provide assistance and guidance to other team members regarding policies, procedures and best practices for equipment repair.
Skills and Qualifications
- Senior Electro-mechanical experience including using a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical circuits and reading electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot systems. Relevant backgrounds may include electro-mechanical roles, HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, Repair, or Military/Veteran experience.
- Superior time management and reliability. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of dependability.
- Valid driver's license with appropriate insurance. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is part of the background check.
- Physically active role. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to walk, stand, squat, bend, and drive for a significant portion of the workday. Safety is a priority around electrical components.
