Field Service Representative Tasks
- Provides 22nd Wing stakeholders with the technical expertise and support required to develop system solutions, demonstrations, and familiarization training on the Mission Voice Platform (MVP) systems.
- Provides maintenance and sustainment support for Mission Voice Platform (MVP) and is primarily responsible for check out, operation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and modification to components of the system.
- The Field Service Representative is the primary technical connection back into the GDIT organization to help not only solve technical issues, but to also keep the organization and business development organization abreast of emerging customer requirements and technologies.
- Working with 22nd Wing site personnel; other responsibilities include movement and accountability of materials, equipment and tools, work site set up, and record keeping within prescribed policies and procedures.
- Attend 22nd Wing and other meetings as required. (Teleconferences, Technical Meetings, Technical briefs).
- Perform MVP software patches and Operating System updates.
- Installation of new hardware and software or systems and tracks existing trouble ticket problems.
- Maintains accurate service logs, creates change requests, and enters them in the appropriate trouble ticket database.
- Identify system hardware and software problems, if required, submit RMA. equipment to OEM Vendor and track status.
- Provide over-shoulder training to end users.
Cybersecurity Tasks
- Provides technical expertise and support required to implement software vulnerability mitigation, anti-virus updates, and documentation in support of the Authority to Operate (ATO) for the Mission Voice Platform (MVP).
- Develop, evaluate and analyze design constraints, detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Secure-Integrated Communication System (S-ICS) Mission Voice Platform (MVP).
- Coordinate with 22 Wing ISSO to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
- Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
- Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application.
- Ensure all systems comply with 22 Wing/DND cybersecurity polices and systems are hardened using DISA SCAP and STIGs.
- Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and information assurance and cybersecurity standards and practices through formal verification methods with specific emphasis on network and cyber operations.
- Identify, track, and report security requirements throughout security process of all information systems which are assigned.
- Documents the various security control implementations as well as gather the artifacts that support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation for the various Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts.
Additional information
- Normal work week Monday – Friday (normal duty hours), shift work and weekend hours may be required in support of exercise or operational tasking.
- Must be eligible for Canadian Secret/US RELCAN
- Employee will be employed by CSRA Canada
Experience Requirement: 5-8 years’ experience
Education Requirement: BA/BS Degree or equivalent
