Overview

Feeder Driver - Regina role at UPS

Primary Job Posting Location : Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

This Driver position transports trailers to and from UPS warehouses. They utilize safe transportation methods to get to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication. They leverage technology to effectively aid in delivery services. Class 1 or AZ unrestricted license is required. This position is a permanent full-time opportunity. Home terminal is Regina, SK. Driver must be able to cover runs that start at different times.

Responsibilities
  • Drive UPS single / twin 28ft trailers.
  • Drive UPS 48ft or 53ft trailers.
  • Follow and execute company-established safe / defensive driving methods.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and complete assigned deliveries within the specified time.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damages before and after deliveries.
  • Adhere to and comply with the applicable federal and / or state laws regulations and / or agency rules as well as standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Qualifications
  • Shift is Sunday to Thursday between 8pm and 5am. Your start time will be communicated in advance.
  • Must cross border when necessary
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to provide a clean 5 year commercial drivers abstract
  • Must have a valid Class 1 or AZ license with no restrictions
  • Must pass pre-employment road test
  • 2-week paid training program
Compensation
  • 19.00 / per hour to start - with bonus = $28.0
  • Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement - top rate of $36.27 after seniority plus 48 months of service
