Chicken Kingdom, Chicken & Seafood , are opening a new location in Brighton ON.They are presently looking to hire Cashiers to fill various shifts.

A fast food cashier’s primary duty at Chicken Kingdom, Chicken and Seafood, is tohandle customer transactions and provide excellent service at the point of sale.This involves accurately taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.They also maintain a clean and organized work area, answer customer questions, and may assist with other tasks like stocking or food preparation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Taking Orders:

Cashiers greet customers, listen to their orders, and accurately input them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.

They process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions, providing change and receipts.

  • Providing Customer Service:

Cashiers answer questions about the menu, specials, and promotions, and resolve any issues or complaints.

They keep the cashier area, dining area, and surrounding spaces clean and organized.

  • Assisting with Food Preparation:

Depending on the restaurant, cashiers may also prepare simple items like drinks or package orders.

  • Restocking:

They may be responsible for restocking items like condiments, napkins, and other supplies.

  • Following Safety Procedures:

Cashiers adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Upselling:

In some cases, they may be encouraged to suggest additional items or promotions to customers.

  • Closing Procedures:

At the end of their shift, cashiers may be involved in counting the cash drawer and preparing it for deposit.
