The Opportunity

As a fashion designerwithinReitmans Canada Limited – PENN. brand, you’ll play a key role in evolving our product offering. You’ll identify and interpret fashion trends to create inspiring collections that meet our customers’ needs.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the lead designer, you will:

  • Support your leaders in defining seasonal trends for the target market.
  • Bring forward creative ideas on how to translate the latest trends into our collections.
  • Collaborate with your team to oversee artwork creation and define seasonal color palettes.
  • Oversee technical drawings to ensure precision and consistency.
  • Participate in decision-making meetings and contribute to collection direction.
  • Attend fittings to ensure each garment fits as beautifully as it looks.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
  • University or college degree in Fashion Design.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in apparel design.
  • Strong fashion sense, creativity, and ability to generate original ideas.
