What You’ll Do

Job Description Summary

As a marketing and communications intern, you will successfully apply your knowledge, experience, and creativity to support FIRST Canada’s ongoing success. This role supports the marketing department in their accountabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Event Support – assist with event logistics for internal and external events, kickoffs offs, and similar events by co-creating presentation materials, slides, shipping and receiving, ordering food and beverage.
  • Websites & Social Media - Update the National website. Populate the FIRST Canada Social media channels and report on analytics
  • Preparing/updating sell sheets, collateral, and marketing material.
  • Ensure the file drive and salesforce are updated with current versions of marketing material.
  • Assist in creating go-to-market support for new product launches
  • Uploading new and updated marketing assets to shared library and sales force
  • Track invoices and budget expenditures
  • Manage and maintain marketing Inbox – actioning emails within a 24hr period
  • Coordinate packages and courier services (assemble gift bags, etc.)
  • Coordinate, track, and organize promotional material and in-house inventory
  • Compile and share monthly/quarterly marketing reporting
  • Supports the Marketing Managers with the daily intake of new requests as well as overall maintenance and tracking of deliverables and archival when complete.
