A geological consulting firm in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is looking for an Exploration Geologist to Project Manager. Ideal candidates will have a degree in geology and relevant experience with core logging and geological mapping. This role offers the chance to manage projects in mineral exploration with a dedicated team, participate in fieldwork, and prepare technical reports, with a starting rate of $400 per day. Candidates should be physically fit and ready to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
Exploration Geologist to Project Manager
We want experienced and junior geologists looking to build on or gain experience in core logging, field mapping, and project management in mineral exploration, with a good chance of discovery! There are opportunities to manage projects and play a key role in boots‑on‑the‑ground exploration work on exploration projects at various stages of advancement. Our young and enthusiastic team is supported by folks with sound experience.
This upcoming field season will begin in late May/early June 2026. We will be providing drill program management services to clients with projects located in a number of places in British Columbia. Program scope and start‑up date varies by project. In addition, we will be organizing a small crew, or crews, of field geologists and technicians to undertake geological mapping and/or soil or stream sediment geochemical sampling programs on earlier‑stage projects (as the geologist, you will be in a management role on these). Roles are therefore available for experience levels ranging from Project Managers to early‑career logging geologists, to field‑oriented prospecting and mapping geologists.
Starting rate is $400/day, variable and negotiable commensurate with responsibility, experience and qualifications, given the wide range of potential roles.
