Be able to bartend and serve functions in a guest-focused role at Best Western Plus Barclay Hotel and affiliated locations.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to bartend and serve functions
• Must have Serving it Right
• Taking customer orders and serving food and beverages
• Ensuring tables are set and properly prepared for guests
• Handling financial transactions and processing payments
• Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
• Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
• Following health code standards when handling food
• May assist in the training of new staff
• Performing shift preparation duties like rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables, ensuring floors are clean, and cleaning as needed
• Be able to follow our guidelines and protocol
