STRATEGIS LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is a small town firm filled with a team of enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individuals. We are dedicated to and knowledgeable in the tax and accounting aspects affecting our clients and we pride ourselves on being focused on our clients and our staff. We are located in beautiful Sylvan Lake and have been serving the community and surrounding area for over 25 years. We are currently looking for a young entrepreneurial-spirited CPA to join our team to help serve our growing client base. The successful candidate will be able to maintain, create and build internal and external client relationships. You must have the drive to liaison with clients and be their trusted business advisor. You will have experience in preparing and reviewing compilations, assisting staff with their file queries and explaining various matters to clients. We are looking for someone to assist mentoring staff, working with clients and is willing to relocate to Sylvan Lake.

Your Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Providing clients from various industries with sound advice on their accounting and tax engagements
• Facilitating file planning meetings, reviewing compilations and providing staff feedback on file work
• Reviewing personal tax returns
• Reviewing compilation files, along with related corporate tax returns
• Leading the firm’s review engagements
• Mentoring staff and trouble-shooting their problems
• Analyzing issues and providing recommendations and solutions
• Networking to grow existing business and bring in new business

Your Attributes

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• Public Practice experience reviewing compilations and tax returns
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and time management skills
• Exceptional relationship building skills (internal and external).
