Overview
Are you ready to lead impactful, non-interventional studies that shape how medicines are accessed and adopted globally? As an Evidence Generation, Associate Director, you’ll provide scientific leadership for Real-World Evidence programmes within Global Medical Affairs, ensuring they are innovative, rigorous, and aligned with integrated evidence plans. Your work will support informed decision-making by regulators, payers, clinicians, and patients - ultimately helping to reimagine medicine and improve lives.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of non-interventional studies aligned with Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP).
- Develop study concepts, protocols, and reports, and contribute to final analyses and interpretation.
- Ensure scientific rigour and strategic alignment in evidence generation across study design and analysis.
- Represent Novartis in interactions with global key opinion leaders, advisory boards, and external stakeholders.
- Lead or co-chair steering committees for Global Medical Affairs studies and foster external research collaborations.
- Support development and implementation of evidence strategies, methodologies, and technologies to enhance impact.
- Contribute to cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives, including process improvements and training.
- Provide scientific oversight and review of country-level studies and publications to ensure quality and consistency.
Essential for the role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, academic, or healthcare settings focused on evidence generation.
- Proven expertise in non-interventional study design and Real-World Evidence methodologies.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory and access environments related to evidence generation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful evidence within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and influencing skills in a matrixed, global environment.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines in dynamic settings.
- Experience collaborating across global teams and managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
Desirable for the role
- Oncology experience and expertise in non-interventional study design are highly valued for this role.
