Job summary

A community support organization in Ontario seeks a Direct Support Facilitator to assist clients with diverse abilities. Qualifications

• Two years recent experience preferred working with adults with a developmental disability.
• A valid full class G license and access to reliable transportation is required.
• Additional job-related training/certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to clients in social, recreational, and learning-based activities.
• Work according to scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

Experience with adults with developmental disabilities

Fluency in a second language

Positive attitude

Strong commitment to individuals supported

Education

DSW, SSW or Social Sciences degree or diploma

DDW Certificate preferred
