Key Responsibilities

As an Equipment Rental Clerk at Proline Rentals & Bins, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers looking to rent the right tools and equipment for the job. You’ll help guide their decisions, keep the rental process smooth, and make sure every customer leaves confident and ready to get to work.

  • Answer phone calls professionally and take accurate messages
  • Welcome and assist walk‑in customers with rental needs and product questions
  • Recommend appropriate tools and equipment based on customer projects
  • Look up and prepare rental agreements using our Point of Rental system
  • Complete rental contract and related transactions, collecting payments, as required
  • Keep organized and detailed records of all rentals
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and well‑stocked rental environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service — in person, on the phone, and via email

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills and a helpful, positive attitude

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work
  • Solid understanding of heavy and light equipment (e.g. lawn tractors, post‑hole diggers, rototillers)
  • Comfortable learning and using rental software (Point of Rental experience is a plus)
  • Professional and friendly phone presence
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping skills
