Job description
Overview

I am posting this under my existing account of my business in Calgary, but this ad is for a separate business that is located in Red Deer.

We are the landlord / owners of the facility located at 70 Queens Drive, Red Deer. The previous tenant has gone out of business and left behind equipment that needs to be removed and sold off. We are looking for someone that can document the equipment, research the value of the equipment, and post it online for sale.

This would be a part-time and temporary position until the time that the equipment is all liquidated or removed from the facility either for scrap or to be put into storage.

This would be a flexible position, about 20 hours per week, over about a 2 month period. This would be a good position for a student or someone looking for a second job. We are looking to fill this position immediately.

  • Create clear, detailed, and professional listings for online marketplaces (e.g., Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, industry-specific platforms).
  • Write accurate descriptions that highlight key features, condition, and value.

  • Maintain accurate digital records of all listed equipment.
  • Ensure all items are tracked from listing to sale.
  • Reconcile physical inventory with online listings to prevent discrepancies.
  • Some facility management tasks. Coordinating facility access for repairs and inspections by other businesses. Keeping the facility clean and clutter free.
