What you can expect to do here
  • Collaborate closely with project coordinators, other project managers, project directors, technical leads, engineers, scientists, and technicians.
  • Develop technical service offers, work plans, and financial proposals.
  • Prepare tender documents and ensure they meet client expectations.
  • Interface with clients to ensure their needs are met and measure project progress and quality.
  • Plan, manage, and control projects to achieve the set technical, financial, and administrative objectives.
  • Lead field staff, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Mentor and train junior staff involved in the projects.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's health, safety, and quality management requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret data and review technical reports.
What you’ll bring to WSP
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, geology, or another environmental specialty.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental assessments and remediations.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across Canada.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • A safety-conscious attitude and understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
  • Fieldwork experience in environmental assessments and/or remediations.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel from the office to work sites.
Compensation

Salary range (in British Columbia): $74,600 - $102,600

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
