Job description

Are you ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact on a high-profile national program? WSP is seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management (RPM), Upstream team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate closely with project coordinators, other project managers, project directors, technical leads, engineers, scientists, and technicians.

· Develop technical service offers, work plans, and financial proposals.

· Prepare tender documents and ensure they meet client expectations.

· Interface with clients to ensure their needs are met and measure project progress and quality.

· Plan, manage, and control projects to achieve the set technical, financial, and administrative objectives.

· Lead field staff, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

· Mentor and train junior staff involved in the projects.

· Ensure adherence to the company's health, safety, and quality management requirements.

· Analyze and interpret data and review technical reports.

What We Are Looking For:

· A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, geology, or another environmental specialty.

· At least 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.

· Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental assessments and remediations.

· The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Attention to detail and adaptability.

· Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across Canada.

· A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.

· Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

· A safety-conscious attitude and understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.

· Fieldwork experience in environmental assessments and/or remediations.

· A valid driver's license and the ability to travel from the office to work sites.
