Job summary

A leading facility management provider in Winnipeg, Canada is seeking an entry-level Energy Analyst to provide reporting and analytical support in utility management and sustainability metrics. Candidates must have a Technologist diploma, strong skills in MS Excel, and good analytical abilities. This role offers a great opportunity to engage in energy efficiency projects and meet performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • One year or less job related experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of units of energy/utility measurement and conversion calculations.
  • Appreciation of utility tariff structures and utility bill generation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares standard energy and sustainability reporting and executes simple analysis.
  • Supports delivering energy and sustainability reporting to meet KPIs.
  • Executes weather correction calculations for energy accounts.

Skills

Advanced skills in MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good administrative skills

Education

Technologist diploma in Mechanical or related area
Community college diploma or equivalent training
