A leading manufacturer in industrial packaging is seeking an Engineering Technician in Ontario, Canada. This role involves supporting engineering and operations through the assembly and testing of automated machinery, alongside troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a minimum of 5 years experience is required. The position includes opportunities for domestic travel and a competitive salary starting at $23.00 per hour.

Starting at $23.00/hourly
As an Engineering Technician your primary role is to support Engineering/Operations in development and application projects. This includes but is not limited to assembling and breaking down automated machinery, conducting tests on development projects and recording all the relevant data under minimal supervision. You would also be required to troubleshoot equipment and perform the necessary repairs of both electrical and mechanical components. You will also be required to effectively communicate and coordinate with external customers globally.
Education: Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
