Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and develop sophisticated automation frameworks that are efficient, flexible, and reusable.
  • Develop and execute data-driven QA strategies, leveraging SQL, Python, or other tools to test and monitor large datasets.
  • Ensure quality standards are integrated into all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and manage test plans, scripts, and scenarios for regulatory reports, system changes, and data pipelines.
  • Act as a QA lead, guiding QA analysts and testers working on regulatory reporting.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on QA metrics, risks, and readiness for regulatory deliverables.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Operations) to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Integrate test case execution and reporting within the CI / CD pipeline to align with the DevOps strategy, criteria, requirements, and user stories.
  • Work in the SDET capacity to automate early in conjunction with other engineers’ efforts to build systems.
What You May Be a Good Fit For
  • 8+ years of ETL / Data Warehouse / Big data / Data Platform experience.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Governance, or Regulatory Projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience in database technologies, preferably Oracle and PostgreSQL. Experience in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for querying data.
  • Experience with ETL Processes (Data Warehouse) and BI tools (QlikSaas, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience creating reusable code / scripts for Automated Framework using Python (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kafka Data streams, APIs, web services and Microservices.
  • Experience with processes and deliverables in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate technical insights into business terms.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms, preferably Amazon AWS services like Athena, S3, Glue, Lambda, Starburst, etc.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, Dodd-Frank, ESMA).
  • Strong background in QA methodologies, test automation, and data validation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of machine learning or AI-driven testing frameworks for data quality assurance.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and CI tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, etc.
  • Exposure to BDD concepts, including enhanced acceptance criteria and testing practices.
  • Exposure to code quality metrics and shift-left principles.
