As an Engineer in Training (EIT) you will have the opportunity to apply your academic learning within the Transmission & Distribution teams within ATCO Electric. The program includes three rotations of 16 months each at various locations including: Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster, Vegreville AB; Whitehorse, YK; Yellowknife, NWT.
The intent of the rotations is to provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in diverse technical and business work to develop your skills and competencies to attain a professional Engineering designation. This is accomplished through mentoring, coaching and on and off the job development. Your designation and skills establish the foundation for you to have a successful engineering career within the company.
