The Engagement Officer will foster relationships with and engage priority alumni segments, groups, and prospects to deepen their connections to University College (UC), through face-to-face engagement, as well as scaled activities such as impact reporting, events, and advancement communications touchpoints.
The Engagement Officer works collaboratively with UC’s alumni relations committees on a volunteer strategy that sparks connection to the college, strengthens affinity and develops a robust pipeline of prospective supporters. You will collaborate with others to implement this strategy and develop volunteer objectives, recruitment plans, a regular cadence of meetings.
The Engagement Officer will contribute to the fundraising strategy for the college by conducting donor and prospect research in support of campaign priorities, and contributing to a program that promotes the interaction with and recognition of donors at all giving levels.
The Engagement Officer role is highly collaborative—reporting to the Lead, Engagement Programs and working alongside an Alumni Relations Officer. You will benefit from support and guidance from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Arts & Science as well as the Division of University Advancement (DUA) teams.
Note: This role is currently eligible for a hybrid arrangement, pursuant to University policies and guidelines, including butnot limited to the University of Toronto's Alternative Work Arrangements Guideline.
