Employed Student Nurse
Salary: $31.31/hour (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term - May - September 2026
Hours: Casual, Onsite
Location: Fort St. Jonh, BC
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
As Employed Student Nurse, you will work in collaboration with other staff members and collaborating agencies to advocate that all CHN programming is grounded in principles of antiracism, cultural safety and trauma informed practice. The ESN/CH, under the supervision of the Community Health Nurse (CHN), FNHA, the community and the health team, will contribute to the overall health of the community using a Two Eyed Seeing and community development approach. You provide direct nursing care to clients experiencing varying degrees of health challenges and acuity, provided they are competent and within the level of training and education they have acquired in their courses and practicums. Embodying a culturally humble approach, you engage respectfully with community members as equal partners in health service provision. You will operate in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards, limits, conditions, and codes of ethics.
