A federal security agency is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst in Ottawa, ON. The role involves collecting and analyzing threat-related information, preparing reports, and providing continuous operational support. Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma, experience in client services, and must be eligible for an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance. Bilingualism (CBC) is required, and the position does not allow for remote work.
The Emergency Management Analyst (EMA) collects threat-related information from the public, analyzes it using both classified and unclassified databases, and produces reports for operational sectors. The EMA also monitors open-source information and disseminates national-security related information to internal and external clients.
Undergraduate degree and two years of experience, OR college diploma and four years of experience.

The undergraduate degree/college diploma must be obtained from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.
Any higher level of education (i.e., Master's, Doctorate) in a related field of study could be recognized as experience.
An asset qualification is a qualification which can enhance the ability to perform the work based on current and future business requirements, but which is not strictly required. Positions will be staffed based on the selection decision principle and operational priorities.
Required to work shift work (24/7 environment) rotational shifts that extend beyond core hours of work (8-12 hours); overtime on short notice, subject to call‑back for an extended period of time.
Employees must possess and maintain a valid and permanent Canadian driver’s licence for the duration of their employment in that position.
No possibility of remote work. The position requires work physically from the Headquarters in Ottawa, ON.
Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance. The process involves a security interview, a polygraph, and a background investigation that includes credit and financial verifications. The use of illegal drugs is a criminal offense.
