POSITION:Teacher - General - temporary

ASSIGNMENT: Elementary (K-7)

FTE: 0.2

LOCATION: Wells/Barkerville Elementary School

EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2025 until June 30, 2026

Basic Qualifications:A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:

Training Specialization:Elementary Education with specialization at the primary/intermediate level

Related Teaching Experience:Recent successful experience teachingat the primary/intermediate level

A Reasonable Expectation:based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
